WHAT'S THE DEAL?

  • What makes Got Your 6 EAL unique from other personal development programs?
To quote the movie Seabiscuit. "You don't throw a whole life away, just cause he's banged up a little." Our approach is objective driven and experiential, allowing people to learn and develop through hands on interactions with our horses. This will empower you to achieve new skills in a way no in class or traditional coaching can. At Got Your 6 EAL, we don't care where you came from, what happened to you, or if you are rough around the edges. There is no judgement here.
  • What group sizes are allowed?
Got Your 6 EAL works mainly with groups as small as 2 with a maximum of 6 per program. If you have a larger group, contact us and we can discuss options.
  • Do I need special clothing or equipment?
The only required clothing is closed toed shoes for your safety working around the horses. Dress for the weather, and wear clothing you are not afraid of getting a little dusty. Sunscreen and bug spray are recommended. We provide all the equipment for the programs.
  • What if it's hot, cold, raining etc.?
We are an outdoor facility and we will run rain or shine, you are expected to dress accordingly, eg. bring a rain coat. We will have water and snacks available for you.
  • What if I am scared of horses?
If you aren't getting out of your comfort zone, you aren't learning. This is the perfect opportunity to overcome your fears and preconceived notions. You always have choices, why not try to learn more about yourself and how much you can really overcome?
  • How does working with the horse make me remember the objectives?
One of the many bonuses of working with horses vs a classroom setting is the component of hands on interaction. We all learn differently, but we can all take away lessons that we learn through our experiences. The power of the horse is the relationships that we make with them. Through the connection we make by physically being around the horse, we engage the body, mind and spirit of both species.
  • Is there a riding component?
No, we do not ride our teachers! We only work with the horses on the ground. You will work with the horses as part of your team, rather than using them as a tool, allowing the most true reaction of the horse and the most beneficial learning for you.
  • Can i still participate if i don't have horse experience?
Absolutely!! We will inform the group of rules and safety precautions to take when working with the horses and in the arena. We always put safety of our clients and horses first and you will never be alone without a facilitator.
